Last Minute Booking at Andy's Orchard

With friends at Books Inc., in Mountain View. We had a really busy day!

I just did CALIFORNIA APRICOTS book event #37 on Saturday, 12/14/13, at Books, Inc. on Castro Street in Mountain View. This wonderful independent bookstore was swamped as shoppers dropped in for Christmas gifts and browsed the many titles. The people who work at Books, Inc. are great at customer service too! Doug, Alex, Loren--you know who you are!

Anyway, this is just to let my readers know we have one more event scheduled (#38) ... before we all take off for the rest of the year ...

Andy Mariani, of the legendary Mariani orchard family, is holding holiday open house events at his Andy's Orchard specialty produce stand in Morgan Hill this season. He's asked me to come and sign CALIFORNIA APRICOTS there on Sunday, 12/15/13, beginning at 10 a.m.

He'll have tastings, music, egg nog, and general fun for foodies and it is easy to reach, just off Highway 101 at 1615 Half Rd, Morgan Hill, CA 95037. Urban sprawl is spreading throughout the Santa Clara Valley, but you can still head down the Andy's and see a working orchard set against the golden California hills.

This pic was taken July 6, 2013, during my first book signing at Andy's, during his annual Apricot Tasting and Orchard Tour. We had 400 people that day! It won't be as busy for the Christmas event, so you might enjoy it even more.
