Upcoming Events For Historic Bay Area Visionaries

Author Robin Chapman at a book signing with author Jan Batiste Adkins at Recycle Bookstore in Campbell, California in November.

The book signings and book talks have been going well since the publication of Historic Bay Area Visionaries in October and they have been keeping me very busy. In addition to the scheduled events below I will be doing some impromptu signings at retail outlets in the region that are carrying the book. And there are quite a few.

Here is an ad the publisher and I have placed in our local weekly, the Los Altos Town Crier.

The graphic in this ad is by Alexander Atkins Design. Isn't it terrific?

With so many people buying books on line these days, it has been great to see all the non-traditional retail outlets who are selling regional history books in the new millennium. Thanks to all of them for that. As I said, I will be stopping in and signing books at many of them during the holidays. And, here is a list of my scheduled events in the upcoming days:

Tuesday, December 4: Los Altos Library, 7:00 p.m. Author talk and book signing, The Orchard Room, 13 S. San Antonio Road, Los Altos, 94024. 650-948-7683.

Please note: my first book about California, California Apricots: The Lost Orchards of Silicon Valley, still has strong sales five years after its publication by The History Press. You can buy copies of that one on line, at many of the book store events, or bring along your own copies and I will be happy to sign them. You can buy them on Amazon by checking out my Author's Page here:
